The Important Bits

1. We are OnlyMeets and we own, run and operate the site onlymeets.co.uk
2. We operate in the UK and our registered address is 54 Halton Avenue, Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire
3. We will refer to ourselves in this document as “we”, “us”, “our”, “OnlyMeets”
4. We will refer to you as "You", "Your", “Members”, “Users” or “Community”
5. The best way to contact us is through our website on the contact us page which can be found here onlymeets.co.uk/contact
6. We take the handling of your data seriously and we know our members provide us with a lot of personal and sensitive data so ensuring that is protected and secure is one of our core principles. We will ensure that we follow UK law at all times to safeguard any data that is provided to us by our members.
7. We operate an SSL and if you look at the address bar you will see a padlock. SSLs are Secure Socket Layers that will always be present on our site, on all pages.
8. The person who has the role of ensuring your data is secure at all times is Paul Potter who makes sure your data is stored to UK data protection requirements – For legal purposes his title in this respect is Data Protection Officer and Data Controller.
9. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office, our reference is ZB329183 and you can look up on their page that we are committed into law to protect your personal and private data.
10. The Data Protection Officer can be contacted through the website as per Important Bit number 4.
11. We are a UK based company and operate our servers in the UK. If there is a requirement to move our servers outside of the UK, then we will provide the same if not additional, levels of safeguards to protect your data.
12. “Personal Information” is information that you provide to OnlyMeets that is considered to make you potentially identifiable. For example, it could be a name, a telephone number or a picture – these are not exclusive examples, but you get the idea. If you are unsure drop us a message at onlymeets.co.uk/contact and we will answer your questions in person.  For clarity, we do not encourage personal details to be made public on users profiles.  To be clear, we do not recommend it and take no responsibility should any user decide to share personal or sensitive information either privately or publically.
13. For clarity, information that is not personally identifiable is not classed as personal information.
14. In some cases, OnlyMeets may receive “Sensitive Information” that requires us to treat it with extra protection. We categorise this as being information that could relate to religious beliefs, Ethnic Origins, Trade Union Affiliations, Health, Sexual Orientation, Sex Life and even Political Views – again this list is not exhaustive so message us at onlymeets.co.uk/contact if you are unsure and we will explain in further detail.  For clarity, users have the final choice in sharing "Sensitive Information" either publically or privately and we do not take any responsibility for data that is shared willingly by users.
15. You can access all the data we hold on you by completing the form at the end of this page but there will be a small processing fee of £10 for each Subject Access Request – we recommend that rather than pay us a fee you drop us a message at onlymeets.co.uk/contact first to see if your query can be sorted first. Oh, and should you ever delete your account then all information that is on your profile, including pictures, is deleted forever.
16. Should we need to release any of the information we hold about you then we may require certain information from you before any data is disclosed. We may need you to provide proof of who you are.  Obviously, this is to protect all our community accounts so please don't stress, its for the good of everyone.
17. When you delete your account ALL your data is deleted with immediate effect, we hold no records of the data you uploaded or added to your profile so be careful as there will be nothing you can do to restore a deleted profile – we do offer a hide profile feature that can be used should you wish to take a break from OnlyMeets and this allows all your data to be retained until you either return or delete your profile.
18. From time to time we may limit the amount of users that we have on the site, if this is the case and you have not renewed your account to VIP status, i.e. paid status, then we may delete your profile and all associated data without seeking your consent to make room for others.
19. If for some reason you cannot access your account and you wish for OnlyMeets to manually delete your account, then email us at onlymeets.co.uk with your request and we will action it as a priority.  Manual account deletions may require you to send us additional information so we can verify you are the account holder.
20. Where we are required to by UK law, we may keep certain information such as guarantees, warranties and the goods or services we have provided. Any legal requirements that we under law for financial and tax purposes will be followed as required.
21. Users cannot access the site without providing some “Personal Information” such as an email address that will require authentication to complete registration. Once registered we ask that other “Personal Information” be added to allow for the full use of the site. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information provided by users as some people who don’t know their arse from their elbow, but this is the internet so we recommend caution at all times.
22. Users will also be compelled to provide some “Sensitive Information” in order to utilise the site, examples of which are sexuality, physical attributes and sexual preferences.  Joining the site is voluntary and entirely in the control of the user so love it or leave it.  Other "Sensitive Information" such as ethnicity, religious beliefs, and others are optional and this information is classed as voluntary.
23. By registering on the site you are providing us with authority to email you with updates about your account and the OnlyMeets site. However, you are free to opt out at any time from our emails either be contact us directly at onlymeets.co.uk/contact or by unsubscribing to emails.
24. If we believe there are any illegal activities being undertaken on the site then we reserve the right to contact any relevant authorities and in addition we may release any data we hold about you or your account if we are required to by UK Law. You can still have proper batshit fun without breaking the law so please just behave!
25. We may offer links to third party sites to provide you with other additional features and extra benefits, an example of this is the Shop page which can be found at onlymeets.co.uk/shop. We may receive a commission if you decide to shop on these pages.
26. The Shop page also offers you the option to buy items direct from other verified community users.  Although we do our best to verifiy and ensure sellers are genuine, we do not guarantee any of the items advertised and recommend due dilligence is undertaken before purchasing any items.
27. Any third-party pages that we link to are not controlled by us and you understand and agree that if you do visit these sites then you are subject to the terms and conditions set by them which includes their cookies and other potential data gathering or sharing.  We recommend that you read all policies and terms and conditions before agreeing to view or buy through any webpage as standard.
28. To continue to enhance user experience, we may use analytical software including but not limited to Monster Insights, Google Analytics and Facebook Business to measure traffic, I.P.'s, location, pageviews, device and technical information and other metrics but these are not personally identifiable.
29. OnlyMeets cannot provide any guarantees on the safety, security or privacy policies set by third party websites, we recommend checking those cookies and ensuring you are happy with their sites before proceeding.
30. Data Protection Laws and your rights
    1. Subject Access – you can get a full copy of the information we hold about you and how we use this data. We will detail how we use your data later in this sermon.
    2. Corrections – should any of the data we hold be incorrect then you have the right to ask us to correct it and we will do this free of charge.
    3. Restriction of Processing and Objections – In some certain cases you can ask us to restrict the use of your personal information and data you have provided to us. Where this is applicable we ask that you contact us directly at onlymeets.co.uk/contact to discuss your concerns and so we can assist you.
    4. Data Movement and Portability – If you ask us to then we can provide your data to another person or organisation. To allow this we may require validation of your account to ensure that your data is safe and secure at all times during transport.
31. OnlyMeets data is backed up regularly and therefore should there be any corruption of the site’s data then a clean scrub may need to be undertaken and the most recent backup restored. We fully understand that you may lose any and all activities you have undertaken prior to the restore but we will ensure at all times that your data is safe and secure.
32. Any breaches of data or data security will be reported as soon as possible to the Information Commissioners Office and guidance sought to correct any issue.
33. To enhance the user experience OnlyMeets may use its members data for profiling to allow us to provide you with potential suitable matches. Profiling will also be used to allow us to email members with special offers, advice, deals and events.
34. Live Video streams are available for VIP users, we regularly review our live streaming partners and links.  We take no responsibility for the content of these streams, the quality of these streams or their stability.  We recommend judgement is made on each channel and leave that responsibility to the user.  If in doubt, don't watch.
35. If you feel you need to report any breach of site rules, or any breach of UK laws please contact us immediately through the contact us form.
36. In order to test, maintain and improve the site and its features and functionality we may need to create some junk profiles, these profiles will be clearly labelled as Admin and you are free to message but don't expect a reply.
37. Any pictures that are uploaded to OnlyMeets are the responsibility of the user and we take no legal responsibility for anything uploaded, this includes any breach of Copyright so you agree to uploading only personal photos that you digitially own. For clarity, all pictures including Private Pictures are checked manually before being allowed as public and by uploading any picture you agree that you have permission to do so.  You will appreciate that we have to do this to ensure no laws are being broken.
38. For accounts where we believe there has been a breach of our terms of service or privacy policy then we reserve the right to delete the account and block the IP.
39. Certain browsers may require the acceptance of their cookies, please read their cookie and privacy policies which are not under our control. You make the decision regarding your privacy and data.
40. From time to time, we may use software to block all IP addresses that originate from outside of the UK which can affect UK users using a VPN.
41. For those who wish to photo-verify these photos once uploaded and verified by OnlyMeets are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered, these will not show on your profile.
42. Any information you request from us, subject to proper checks being made on account validity will be released as soon as possible but always within 1 month of your account and request being validated.
43. We reserve the right to modify or change our Privacy Policy with immediate effect.  Not exclusive, but this could be due to a change in law. Data laws change regularly and these are designed to protect you and therefore we abide.
